Police Officer
The City of Hutchinson seeks applicants to fill (1) Full Time and (2) Part Time Police Officer positions. Qualified applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED, plus, at minimum, an Associate’s Degree in police/criminal justice or related field. MUST be P.O.S.T. licensed or eligible to be licensed at time of hire. Laterals are welcomed and encouraged. 2024 Salary range: $31.61 – $47.42 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Currently negotiating 2025 wages. Shift differential for overnights. New facility in July 2023 with 24/7 on-site Fitness Center. The City of Hutchinson seeks applicants to fill a Wastewater Manager position. Duties include: manage wastewater (ww) treatment facility operations and maintenance, administers personnel, budgetary, and regulatory management of the ww treatment facility, assist Public Works department with emergency management functions and emergency maintenance responses. Requires Associate Degree/technical training in ww treatment operation & maintenance plus 5 year of relevant ww treatment facility operations, Class B WW Operator Certificate with the ability to obtain a Class A. A Class D Water, Type IV Waste Disposal Facility Operator Certificate, Special Engineer Boiler license, Class B CDL with tanker and airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain. Salary range $38.35/hour to $57.52/hour. Depending on qualifications.
