National Community Survey

You know best what life is like in the city of Hutchinson. So, we want to hear from you! The city of Hutchinson invites you to take The National Community Survey. Every four years, the City participates in this survey to provide baselines of how the city government is serving its residents, to gauge perceptions of the City, and to make comparisons with peer cities. Feedback provided through these surveys help shape policy decisions by the City Council.
Previous surveys were conducted in 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019. The 2023 survey began last month with 2,500 random homes being sent the survey by mail. Similar to what took place in 2019, the survey is now open to all residents of Hutchinson.
The survey is available online until August 26, 2023.

Residents who received the survey by mail should fill out that version and mail it back rather than participate in the opt-in online version. Residents will need to provide their email address and their zip code to take the survey.
The survey is administered by the National Research Center at POLCO and includes questions about the quality of life in Hutchinson, demographics, local policies, ratings of local government services, and resident uses of services.
