The designs for the 2020 Downtown Hutchinson Streetscape include using some of the existing features and adding some new features:
- The same style of metal benches and trash receptacles will be used
- The existing light poles will be refurbished and reused. New LED smart lighting system will be incorporated.
- Bollards will be used to delineate off street parking areas
- A 32″ wide color concrete band will be used on the sidewalk, adjacent to the curb. There will not be a stamp in the concrete
- Portable planters will be used throughout the downtown area
