DNR and Fish & Game

Renew DNR vehicles in person or via our drop boxes.

You may renew DNR vehicles, registered in your name, in person or by utilizing one of our two drop boxes

If you want to utilize our drop boxes and have your renewal postcard:

  • Place your postcard into an envelope along with check or money order payable to the City of Hutchinson.
  • Write your driver’s license and phone number on your check.
  • Seal your envelope and place it into one of our dropboxes.
  • We will mail your registration back to you at the address on record.
    • If you need to update the address, please include a note with your new address.

If you do not have your renewal postcard:

  • The registered owner must complete the DNR’s Registration Consent Form.
  • Call (320) 234-2599 or Email our office to get the amount due.
  • Place your signed DNR Registration Consent Form and a check or money order payable to the City of Hutchinson into an envelope. Write your driver’s license and phone number on your check.
  • Seal your envelope and place it into one of our drop boxes.
  • We will mail your registration back to you at the address on record.
    • If you need to update the address, please include a note with your new address.

Fish & Game Licenses

Current requirements for purchasing Married Combination License.

Both you and your spouse must be present to purchase a combination license in person. Both spouses must provide and verify their customer records on file with the DNR to purchase a combination license in person.

If both spouses are not present, the person present may purchase their part of the license and their spouse may obtain their license at a later date at no additional charge. Due to the DNR’s updates in combination license requirements we may need to collect additional information that was not required in previous years such as your spouse’s full name, birth date, social security number.

DNR Manuals are available in person, by request, from our DMV Services office at no fee.
