Notice of Filing
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of the City of Hutchinson, Minnesota, who may desire to be a candidate for City Office at the General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The offices listed below will be voted on. If three or more candidates should file for one office, a primary election will be held August 11, 2026. Qualified candidates must file an affidavit of candidacy with Melissa Starke, Election Official for the City of Hutchinson (or designee), accompanied by a filing fee of $20.00, between May 19, 2026, and June 2, 2026. Affidavits of Candidacy will be accepted during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) at the Hutchinson City Center, 111 Hassan Street SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350 and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026. COUNCIL SEAT #1 – four year term
COUNCIL SEAT #2 – four year term
MAYOR – two year term
