2023 Road and Bridge Closures

 

2023 Closure Calendar

  • Roberts Rd SW – L1/P23-01 – Alan St SW to Dale St SW: Roadway partial reconstruction and water utility infrastructure installation. Road Closed Starting May 1st until tentatively August 25th
  • 2023 Pavement Improvement Projects – L2/P22-02, 23-02 & 22-03 –
    • New multi-use trail along Hwy 15 – Starting approximately May 30th until end of June
    • Century Ave SW – Dale St SW to Boston St SW: Roadway rehabilitation by milling. Road Closed approximately June 7th until approximately July 19th
    • School Rd NW – North High Dr NW to Golf Course Rd NW: Roadway rehabilitation by milling. Road Closed approximately June 7th until approximately July 19th
  • Bridge Deck Rehabilitation – L10/P22-10 – School Rd, South Grade Rd, 5th Ave SE, 2nd Ave SE and Adams St Bridges: Deck sealant application, concrete patching, joint repairs and appurtenances. 2nd Avenue SE and South Grade Road Bridges will be closing May 22nd for approximately 3 to 5 days.  Potentially the Adams Street NE Bridge will be the next to shut down once 2nd Ave SE and South Grade Road Bridges are complete.  5th Ave Bridge will be closed approximately June 7th until July 10th.  School Rd Bridge will be closed approximately July 11th until August 17th.
  • Alley Improvements – L3/P23-03 & 23-04 – Alley #12 (Taco Johns Alley) between Hwy 7 W & 3rd Ave NW from James St NW to Glen St NW & Alley #55 (Fire Department Alley) between Jefferson St SE & Adams St SE from 2nd Ave SE to 3rd Ave SE: Alley Construction. Tentatively June 1st start date.
  • Maintenance Overlays – L6/P23-07 – 2nd Ave SW (Dale St SW to Glen St SW); Dale St SW (Century Ave SW to South Grade Rd SW); Dale St SW (Roberts Rd SW to 2nd Ave SW); Market St SW (Denver Ave SW to Century Ave SW): Roadway maintenance overlays. Starting approximately September 1st until approximately October 20th.
