SUMMARY:Plate to Garden Compost Sale and Rain Barrel Sale
DESCRIPTION:You’re Invited! \nDon’t miss out on an upcoming fundraising event\, where Parents Inspired will be selling 20lb bags of Creekside Soils compost. \n$4 for prebagged or $3.50 to fill 20lbs worth in your own 5-gallon bucket. \nLearn about the City of Hutchinson’s Curbside Organics Program & how Creekside Soils processes food scraps and yard waste into compost! \nBest of all\, funds raised will support Parents Inspired\, which provides support groups for parents of children with special needs\, programming for youth and young adults\, and resource navigation for local families—along with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in McLeod County\, delivering free books each month to children from birth to age five. \nFor more information about the Plate to Garden Compost Sale\, please email Creekside Soils’ Outreach Coordinator at cmeuffels@hutchinsonmn.gov. We’re happy to answer any questions or provide additional details about the event. \n \n  \nBONUS! The City of Hutchinson will be selling rain barrels on the same day\, time\, & location. $65 cash/check payable to the City of Hutchinson. \nRain barrels are a simple way to conserve water and make the most of every rainfall. By collecting rainwater you can reduce runoff\, prevent erosion\, and keep excess water out of storm drains. The stored water is perfect for gardens\, lawns\, and landscaping\, helping plants thrive while lowering your water bill. It’s an easy\, cost-effective step toward more sustainable living. \nFor more information regarding rain barrel sales\, please email our engineering department at kluedtke@hutchinsonmn.gov.
