Airport

Hutchinson Municipal Airport (known as Butler Field) is located on the south side of the city along State Highway 15, just south of Airport Road (McLeod County Highway 115).

The airport is named after Ken Butler, an area aviation pioneer and Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame inductee.
Services at the airport are provided by ASI Jet, who is located at the airport and provides fuel and aircraft maintenance, along with other related services.

The airport is used by area businesses and recreational pilots. Hutchinson’s Civil Air Patrol Squadron also makes its home at the airport.

The airport boasts a 4,000 – foot runway with parallel taxiway, a modern, comfortable terminal, maintenance hangar, and aircraft apron. The terminal is named after Joe Dooley, a local aerobatic pilot who was based in Hutchinson.
